Join a collective of young people stepping into exciting entry-level roles with leading environmental organisations across the West of England.

You’ll get paid for the full length of your placement, receive hands-on experience and a year of support alongside peers to help you flourish.

Our programme prioritises potential over privilege; you don’t need previous experience, a CV or Covering Letter.

Your background shouldn't be a barrier to entering the sector, and by removing traditional requirements, we want to make it easier for you to get your foot in the door.

When you find something you’re interested in, applying is simple; no CV or covering letter required. Just answer a few quick questions about your passions, hobbies, and what you're hoping to get out of the programme.

All of our employers are committed to an inclusive and accessible selection process, and we require them to provide every person who applies with at least some feedback.

You’re also signed up to join the YES Environmental Leadership learning programme.

This includes a mix of monthly structured learning sessions, in-person in Bristol, and personal 1-2-1 coaching to help you navigate your career.

By the end of your placement, you'll have the skills employers are looking for, enough sector knowledge to start plotting your career path and the confidence to embark on your next chapter.
