He brings with him a decade of experience developing new programmes and initiatives, across both public and private sector. He has helped set up an innovation function at one of the worlds’ biggest brands, taught human-centred design at an international bank, and helped develop new digital services for local governments across the UK.

These will be online and in-person sessions aimed at getting trainees to network, engage in wider learning, and fine-tune universal skills.
Sammy has a passion for environmental psychology and has a range of environmental education knowledge. Her previous roles include engaging and supporting disadvantaged groups on Cornish beaches and sparking environmental passion in children from Thailand & China. She has also taught individuals with learning differences important life skills, and connects communities with nature to support their wellbeing at the Eden Project.

She is currently taking a break from pursuing a degree in Environmental Studies from The Open University, where she has acquired interdisciplinary knowledge on diverse environmental issues. Their goal at YES is to gain valuable insights into the workings of the environmental sector and to encourage more young people to become involved.

The Eden Project
Administratively, the Youth Environmental Service is housed within The Eden Project. This allowed us to hit the ground running and ensured our focus could be wholly on project development.
The Eden Project is an educational charity and social enterprise that aims to create a movement that builds relationships between people and the natural world.
You can find more information on The Eden Project on their website.
