Sign up to be a lead partner
What’s on this page:
We’re looking for partners who can help make YES Bristol happen, supporting local grassroots organisations to create placements and making sure young people can access them.
Each of our seven priority sectors will have a lead partner, helping facilitate and drive the development of a skilled workforce in the region.
As lead partner, you will play a pivotal role in creating new opportunities: alongside offering your own placements, you’ll help to subsidise wage costs for small, local charities in your sector.
These subsidies, of up to 80% of wage costs, will make it easier for charities to host paid placements, building much-needed capacity.
By participating, you’ll help create accessible career pathways for young people from diverse backgrounds, allowing them to gain valuable experience in the sector.
Together, we’ll develop a new generation of passionate, skilled talent that can drive innovation and growth, ensuring our region remains at the forefront of environmental change.
Why be a
lead partner
This is your opportunity to facilitate a just, green transition in Bristol and the West of England.
As a lead partner, you would be helping build long- term capacity in the local sector while creating social benefits that could deliver some of your ESG priorities.
In addition to the support available as a host organisation, lead partners will also have access to exclusive benefits, including:
Priority access to recruiting graduates from across the programme, allowing you to benefit from the skills and experiences gained from beginning a career at agile, innovative, demanding, small organisations in your sector.
Participate in a peer-to-peer learning programme, alongside other lead partners from different sectors in the region. You’ll build valuable connections and benefit from insights and learnings from across the environmental movement, helping you to build the culture and capacity to attract, nurture, and retain the next generation of diverse talent.
How to sign up
If this sounds like something you’d be interested in supporting, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re looking for lead partners who can offer financial contributions of £10-£20k per placement subsidised, with a target of 5-7 placements being created in each sector.
Get in touch with our programme director to explore whether your organisation might be suitable to be a lead partner for our next programme.
