What it will involve?
You’ll balance home and office working with travel to farms and countryside events. Key tasks include:

• Helping deliver school programmes like the Kingfisher Award Scheme.

• Organising training and learning events for local farmers.

• Building friendly relationships with schools, landowners, and partners.

• Creating social media posts and promotional materials for events.

• Assisting with fundraising and writing simple reports.

Is this role right for me?
You might enjoy this role if you care deeply about the outdoors, nature, and working with people, especially children. It is perfect if you are enthusiastic, reliable, and open to learning. You must have a full driving licence and your own vehicle to travel around rural Gloucestershire.

How will I be helping protect our environment?
You will connect children and the public to nature, showing them how food, farming, and wildlife interconnect. By organising events for local farmers, you will actively support nature-friendly farming. You may also help teach sustainable farming methods through the GREAT Market Garden project.
